Carsten Wagener

Carsten is a Executive Director at GP Bullhound. He has more than eights years of experience in venture capital, corporate finance and M&A. Prior to joining GP Bullhound, Carsten worked as an Associate Director at Oaklins, where he advised on capital raises as the Head of the Growth Capital Team at Oaklins Germany, as well as several cross-border M&A deals as part of the international SaaS, E-Commerce and IoT sector teams.

Prior to that, Carsten held a senior position at BDO in Germany, after co-founding a boutique M&A advisory firm in New York, advising technology start-ups on exits and capital raises.

He holds an MBA in International Finance from the European School of Economics and completed Executive Education classes in AI and Machine Learning at MIT Sloan.
