GP Bullhound announces seven senior promotions
Despite challenging market conditions, our team has achieved success in completing over 20 transactions with a cumulative value of over $2.4 billion across our core sectors in Software, Digital Services, CSS, Digital Commerce, and Fintech. With our Late-Stage Venture Strategy funds, we’re poised at the forefront of the AI supercycle, ready to further our global impact with these team enhancements. To further strengthen our global presence and enhance service offerings, we are proud to announce a series of well-deserved promotions:
- Gustav Radell, promoted to Partner, has been instrumental in enhancing our strategic positioning, increasing our reach and brand engagement through effective marketing and growth strategies, and providing strategic support to our portfolio companies.
- Alessandro Casartelli, promoted to Managing Director, he leads the Digital Commerce sector globally, with extensive experience in Digital Services and Software, and directs the firm’s Italy operations. He has completed over 40 transactions, notably advising on the sale of Abaco to IBF Servizi and guiding The GOAT Agency’s sale to WPP.
- Javed Huq, promoted to Managing Director & Head of the Manchester Office. With over 15 years of experience, he has made significant contributions at GP Bullhound, including serving as the advisor for both deltaDNA’s acquisition by Unity Technologies and Busuu’s acquisition by Chegg.
- Miguel Kindelán, promoted to Managing Director, he serves as the Head of Spain & Portugal while also overseeing Latin America, leveraging his extensive M&A experience from Lazard. His recent accomplishments include advising Miura Partners on its investment in Wikiloc.
- Oliver Schweitzer, promoted to Managing Director, offers deep insights into digital marketing and transformation services from his tenure at AdMedia Partners and Ogilvy. He has recently advised Precision Strategies on its strategic growth investment by Abry Partners and Melon on its acquisition by DEPT®.
- Ravi Ghedia, promoted to Managing Director, with over 11 years of in-house Digital Services experience having previously built a track record of technology at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Key recent work within digital services includes having advised RocketMill on its sale to PMG and TeamITG on its investment from Bridgepoint.
- Simon Miremadi, promoted to Managing Director & Head of the Berlin Office, focuses on B2B and B2C Software, Digital Media, and Digital Services. His stellar track record of notable transactions include Urban Sports Club (€95 series E), Neura Robotics (€55m Series A), Gymondo (Exit), mindcurv (Exit) or Signavio (+€190m Series B+C).
