Setting the stage for a strategic global opportunity.
Abot Hameiri Communication Limited (‘Abot Hameiri’), a leading Israeli production company specialising in entertainment formats, scripted reality and drama, has sold a majority 51% stake to FremantleMedia, an international creator and distributor of content. Abot Hameiri will be FremantleMedia’s creative hub in Israel, providing a strong pipeline of content that FremantleMedia can then produce and distribute through its international global network.

Guy Hameiri, Founder and MD of Abot Hameiri, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with FremantleMedia and are excited about the creative and commercial opportunities that being part of a bigger network will provide. We have built a great relationship with Chris and GP Bullhound and its advice was instrumental in a successful deal.”
Chris Graves, Director at GP Bullhound, said: “Creative content producers with a track record of selling internationally have considerable strategic value, and Abot Hameiri is a leading player in the exciting Israeli market. We believe there is a great creative fit between the business and FremantleMedia.”
